2-Sources
In my paper 2, I picked and used quotes from my sources that went well together. These sources that I chose I made sure that they went with the topic I was writing about and wanted these quotes to slide right into each other and blend into it well. Within this paper, and my other papers, I wanted to choose quotes that weren’t too long, but if they were, I tried to paraphrase them, but I also tried to use quotes that were integrated within another quote. I only wanted to use a few select of quotes and sources from each author. I didn’t want to use many quotes in my academic paper because I didn’t want them to take away the focus of the personal parts of what I was writing about and the things that I wanted the reader to see and read and to take away the important aspects of it all.
“I tell her I don’t see a scarred woman when I look at her; I think she’s beautiful. She thanks me for saying so, but I can tell the compliment rang a bit hollow. One comment from a stranger can’t reclaim years spent hating the body you live in” (Jamison 226).
